SRK’s shoulder surgery successful
Bollywood baadshah SRK was operated for a shoulder injury today at Breach Candy Hospital and his surgery was successful. The King Khan will be discharged in another 48 hours, however he will not be able to work for almost 4-6 weeks.
SRK while filming the movie ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ last year suffered froma muscle tear in his left shoulder.
The one and a half hours long operation was carried out by shoulder specialist Dr Sanjay Desai by utilizing arthroscopic method.
Dr Desai said, “All went well. He is out of anesthesia. The situation is under control and he is doing fine.”
Before going inside the operation theater SRK said, “Surgeries are not new to me.I work a lot and get injured every now and then so I’m not bogged down. In fact, I’m pretty fine.
SRK underwent previous surgeries for his back and his knee.
We wish SRK a very very speedy recovery, before the IPL kickstarts.

Priyanka wooing a Scottish actor?
Move over Hurman Baweja and more recent Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka’s latest rumor man is from Scotland - actor Gerard Butler( seen in the movie 300).
Priyanka got to know Gerard during the launch of Atlantis resort in Dubai.
A friend of Priyanka tells, “Since November, Priyanka and Gerard have kept in touch via phone calls and SMSes.”
Even Priyanka’s representative was quizzed about this issue and she said, “Priyanka and Gerard hit it off really well in Dubai and have maintained their friendship ever since.”
The duo was recently spotted enjoying a lunch together in Chicago, where our Piggy Chops is shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s your Rashee.
Well I’m confused with Priyanka’s various Dostana’s.

Pepsi dumps SRK
When we hear the word Pepsi, the first thing that comes into our mind is SRK - their brand ambassador for so long, but not anymore ‘coz the renewed Youngistan Pepsi does not want old SRK for their brand anymore.
SRK who acted opposite Ranbir in one of Pepsi’s commercial will not be seen in the ads anymore as Ranbir is the sole ambassador of the company.
A source from the company says, “Shah Rukh simply doesn’t fit the bill anymore.”
Pepsi also endorsed King Khan’s IPL’s Kolkatta Knight Riders last year but are still negotiating the deal this year.
SRK confirmed the news in sarcasm, “I am no longer a part of their campaign. They have thrown me out and I am jobless now.”
However Ghajini Khan - Aamir’s cola company Coca-Cola is quite loyal to their Khan ambassador as they have renewed his contract for astronomical sum of Rs 10 crore.

Preity Zinta nominated for best actress Genie award
Preity Zinta is on cloud nine, and why she shouldn’t be? ‘coz the bubbly actress has been nominated at the 29th Genie Awards under the category ‘Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role’ for her fantabulous performance in Deepa Mehta’s Heaven on Earth where she plays the role of an abused Punjabi wife.
Preity is the first Indian actor to be given this honor, the awards ceremony will take place on April 4th in Canada.
An excited Preity says, “I am super excited. I have crossed my fingers and toes and everything else. I cannot stop smiling as Susan Sarandon and Ellen Burstyn have been nominated under the same category as me. They both are Oscar winners. It is an absolute honour for me to find myself amidst such achievers. I cannot stop thanking Deepa (Mehta) for making me part of Heaven on Earth.”

Kareena wants family now, not money
Kareena Kapoor is busy earning moolah with films and endorsements, but has realized that her fast paced life has started affecting her family life.
A source says, “Kareena feels sad about staying away from her family for so long.”
Apparently Bebo was so depressed and homesick, that elder sister Karisma received her from their building’s compound.
The source adds, “They were meeting after a long time. Bebo and Lolo chatted nineteen to the dozen discussing everything under the sun right from their parlour visit to the colours that they have applied to their hair.”
“Being away from home makes Bebo feel out of place. She is a homely person. She likes to be with family.”
“Kareena is tired of her tight schedules and demanding job. She has now decided that she will keep herself free for her family.”
